PixeLINK offers Image Analysis Software and Software Developer's Kits (SDK) to support the needs of end-users and OEM customers. PixeLINK Capture SE 2.2 is a real-time, interactive image analysis software package designed for microscopy applications. It allows end-users to control their PL-A600 series PixeLINK camera(s), see a live preview, capture, measure and annotate all within an intuitive interface. PixeLINK Capture OEM is a free demonstration image capture application built around the PixeLINK API and is intended for OEM customers. The PixeLINK Software Development Kit includes a full application programming interface which also includes LabVIEW wrappers, full documentation, and extensive source code samples. For backwards compatibility, the SDK includes both version 3 and version 4 API and drivers.

Microscopy Cameras and PixeLINK Capture Software PixeLINK Capture SE 2.2 is a real-time, interactive application for PixeLINK Cameras. Designed for microscopy documentation, it allows you to control your PixeLINK cameras, see a live preview, capture and measure all within an intuitive interface. New features added with this release include annotation and continuous auto-exposure. Along with camera control and image capture, PixeLINK Capture SE includes thumbnail previews of stored images, image enhancement and measurement features. Camera and application settings can be saved and instantly recalled at a later time, saving you time and increasing your image capture speed. PixeLINK Capture SE includes a fully functional TWAIN interface that can be used with many 3rd party software applications.
EXISTING PIXELINK CAPTURE SE USERS! PixeLINK Capture SE 2.2 will not recognize your current software activation and will default to a trial state when used with your camera, resulting in a PixeLINK watermark being displayed on all captured images. Prior to downloading and installing this software, please contact PixeLINK Support by email at support@pixelink.com to obtain an update for your camera ensuring that you provide the model and serial number of your camera when making this request. PixeLINK Support will provide a camera update via email which you must install first. After the update has been installed, download and install PixeLINK Capture 2.2. Note: PixeLINK Capture SE requires that the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) be installed. These are included with Windows XP. Software Development Kit
The PixeLINK SDK contains a full Application Programming Interface, along with a sample application with full source code, LabVIEW wrappers and full documentation. The SDK is compatible with Visual Basic, Visual C and Visual C++ on Windows™ 2000 and XP platforms. With the SDK, developers can integrate PixeLINK cameras into their custom applications with ease. The API is based on an object-oriented model where the camera contains all the information about its capabilities and functions. A small set of API functions can be used to determine and control the feature set supported by the camera. Integration is simple and fast. The SDK includes the PixeLINK Developer’s Application, a sample application that controls all the camera functions and demonstrates camera performance. The Developer’s Application provides integrators with examples of how a PixeLINK camera can be integrated into a complex application. As well as full source code for the application, the Developer’s Application also provides an API function call log that shows the sequence of API calls used and the parameter values any time a control on the GUI is accessed.
